Pat, I'm very happy to be one of your recommenders and glad that you've taken this step! FWIW, I view the paywall (which I use for some work here on Substack) in the same way I view those samples/previews of books on online ebook retailers. The previews give interested readers (after all, they are free subscribers) a chance to dip into work you are offering for sale--the same situation you have when you're browsing in a bookstore, pick up a print book, sample a few pages while you stand there, deciding whether it's meant for you or somebody else. To me, that's what the preview (above the paywall) is all about. Anyway, something to think about . . .
Good news, Pat. I'm joining the crowd.
Way to go, Pat!
Family discount?
We're so cheap!
Go, Pat, Go! 😃
