Weirdest thing, Pat? Oh my gosh, there are so many, BUT if I were to pick one or two they might be seal grease and Arctic lamprey eels.
Those small red glands are called 'kernals'--squirrels and racoons have them, too.
You may just have won the contest! How was the seal grease used and what did the eel taste like?
Lamprey is great! Very oily fish. Kinda like fresh sardines. The gamey fish flavor of the seal grease was too strong for me. My understanding is that it is used on every and any thing....kinda like ketchup.

Best weird thing would probably be lutefisk. Though there are some that wouldn’t think it weird at all.
Anything that gets soaked in lye is up there on the weird-and-brave of you scale. Hope I was good!
