I love this stuff! And your search is yet another reason for keeping all those goofy scraps of paper that proliferate in cupboards, drawers, napkin holders (I have a wad of scribbled tablets, clippings & important notes wedged in there). Keep up the good work - we need your investigations! ❤️

That's so nice to hear especially since most days I feel like these little scraps are like a family reunion and you know how that goes! STraight to the wine bottle

And, soda bread with gluten free flour (Wegman’s, rice flour et al, very similar to Bob’s Red Mill) not the same as Mom’s. Tasty, though. New tradition? Will my kids make this for their kids?

Wait, did you make a gluten free one? And yes, yes they will, because we will haunt them, along with Mom and that will not be really annoying to them.

Made the Irish Bakery’s Porridge Bread. 1 pound of yogurt (!), 3 cups oats, etc. Added my own touch with hemp seeds, and topped off cinnamon and sugar and pecans. Yum. Not what Mom would do (NWMWD). Traditions embellished.

NWMWD? Only her son could get away with that one! ;) Is it a heavy bread?

Heavy to stay with one until lunch.

Ok, so, many texts later (you know), caraway seeds, did you put them in? Did you put any sugar in the soda bread?

I followed mom who does have sugar (see photo in post) but I put caraway seeds in only one. I ran out after that
