Suprised and not suprised that the white lightening recipe contain pokeberries since they are poisonous...but they probably increase fermentation. I did recieve the booklet in the mail btw. -- Amanda Lewis
Thanks for this. You sent me right on a pokeberry chase....You think they gathered them in the spring when they're not so poisionious? Maybe the lye nutrilized them? Either way this recipe gave me an immediate hangover and stomach ache. And now I know what that thing growing in a corner of my garden is. So glad you received the booklet!
The man buried alive is, unfortunately, priceless! I think you have to be a little muddled to go as far as curry! But what's your savory oats? I never thought about that.
