Yes! I agree, feed them to tame them. I would make 6 pound of potato salad, 2 pounds of spaghetti w sauce, cake and cooked galore. All gone in a swift afternoon. Cheep cereal and 5 gallons if milk a week were normal. Then they would play in the back yard.... soccer, flag football, rugby etc. i actually miss those days and the energy it always had. They hang around if there is food.
