Happy belated anniversary, Pat! I love this story so much. I relate a bit since I’m from the US and my partner is from Spain (we live in Madrid), so our food culture backgrounds are quite different! Like you and your husband, we’ve learned to compromise, and lots of our meals end up being some sort of mix of traditional US and Spanish meals. It’s been fun to learn about an entirely different food culture, although I’ll admit there are some things that I still don’t think I’ll ever like (namely stewed tripe and pig ear--no, thank you 😂)!
Love this! Two years dating someone that doesn't like cheese........... But, we love cooking together and I have learned a lot from him. And I never have to share any grilled cheese sandwich, ever!
