Blessings on thee and thy husband, Pat! That takes bravery. I've done postcards in previous years, but my handwriting is now so erratic (arthritis) that I've given it up--and feel guilty. Not many Dems in our county, and nothing but Trump signs on our road (a little scary, especially when the sign has a gun graphic on it). And thx to the electoral college, my vote for president doesn't count. But it was worth going to the polls for the popular vote and the chance to unset Ted Cruz.
All praise it due to my husband who's doing another shift of calling right now. Those are scary signs, indeed. It would be extremely great pay back to kick Cruz out! We'll get through this together.
Go Pat! and your super husband! The phone is not my thingy, either. So I truly appreciated what it has taken you to do this. I also see how it is helping to mend our broken country. You both definitely deserve a slice of pie!!! I will watch for part 2 of your Route 6/ pie journey.
Good for you, Pat! I’m also phone-phobic, but the calling I’m doing now in the last 2 days of “GOTV” (Get Out The Vote) is mostly about leaving messages on machines—dull but necessary work, I’m told. I did door-knocking in Nevada and locally for a candidate for Congress that was more exciting. Mostly people were nice, but one or two wanted to engage in pointless arguments about why they would vote for Trump, even though they didn’t like him. Others parroted back Fox News talking points about Kamala that I won’t repeat. It was discouraging at the time, but the work, even the duller parts, is rewarding. You can say you participated in trying to preserve your democracy. You fought the good fight, and maybe, just maybe, the watchwords of the Harris/Walz campaign will turn out to be true: When we fight, we win! GO KAMALA!
Thank you for calling, Pat!
it's all my husband. He's better than me

The man is out there tomorrow doing it, too! I. AM.NOT.WORTHY!!!
Good for you! I can't believe anyone is undecided.
I think they just didn't want to say. It was pretty heart breaking the number of people who didn't feel safe.
Scary times.
We'll get through it
