Thank you! Sometimes I rather do an old recipe because no one remembers how it tastes so if it doesn't come out I can claim that's just how it was back in the day. Maybe we should do some outrageously weird fun thing together! Would make the world a better place.

This was fascinating! I experimented with updating a recipe from the 1800s for Christmas Plum Pudding in my December newsletter. It’s so interesting finding modern substitutes for ingredients and methods, although by your pie standards, the recipe I was looking at was brand new! Loved this post!
