Yes! Of course! I never understand when a passenger asks why I'm stopping and climbing over trees and fields, wandering into vacant building, and talking the ears off of unsuspecting tiny store owners. Obviously, we have to go on a road trip!
Im always in search of the Hillbilly Hideaway and thought i might have found it last month in upstate New York. Alas i was wrong. But I’ll keep searching in pursuit of the grail.
I love that you were seated with eleven strangers, had a meal that kept coming, and stayed safely overnight at the insistence of such a caring server. Thank you for sharing this vignette of true hospitality.
Take a right off highway 87, around the corner, through a couple of bends that was part of old hwy 36, then a left that gets you to pine hill road and you're there!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who stops for historical markers. (I also stop for cows in fields, dilapidated barns, general stores and majestic oaks.)

Loved this, I’m looking at the Hillbilly Hideaway Menu right now!
