Shaving cream is a favorite, too, especially among circus clowns--less expensive and easy to replenish stock. The virtue of baking a throwing pie is it plays into the notion that targets have nothing to complain about, given that a whole delicious pie is now available for their individual consumption. Then again, given how many pies we'll require soon does lean toward shaving cream.
