Just hilarious and the recipe seems too delicious to throw—but maybe you could make several pies and keep at least one to enjoy more peacefully. I couldn’t help looking up pie fight movie scenes—and there seem to be many to choose from, but the one from the 1927 Laurel and Hardy film “The Battle of the Century” had me in stitches and in the mood for a pie fight. Here’s a link, with no sound really necessary as the action speaks for itself: https://youtu.be/aHY5SM0YFv0?feature=shared

Kate McDermott sent me this one, too! Just a gem of a pie fight.. I have kept it up on my computer to divert from the news. Shows a lots of techniques in it we can learn for our own pie fights!

I didn't! Thank you for sending it! The women steal it!, espewcially the last one who gives a Chaplin-esque shake of her leg. Don't you think we'd all be better off with a national viewing of this and a good pie toss?
