V1/E2 of America Eats! newsletter featuring two visionary artists' recipe for erotic dreams, the drunken women sledding incident, herring ice cream, and an alternative to your nightly alcoholic beverage. Read it all here!
Thanks for the link to An Eccentric Culinary History; I just love reading things like his newsletter. This week I listened to a podcast with chef/owner of Blue Hill, Dan Barber. What a great interview it was. He is such a fantastic advocate for the farm to table movement, but in a way that I've never heard much about, sustainable farming. I know next to nothing about why farmers grow what they grow, this was eye opening. I was so impressed that I checked his book out on Libby so I could learn more about him.
Thank you for your kind words and recommendation! I'm especially glad you liked that jerky piece. Cheers!
I really do love your newsletter and, yes, jerky--one of my favorite sneaky things to eat!

I'm glad you enjoyed Miller. I smile every time I see him in my mail box--much like I do your newsletter. The day spins a little better.
